Emma was elected the Green house capatain for the annual school sports carnival. She was very busy organising chants and songs and pom poms and stuff. Go Green! Bradley has had his birthday and seems pretty happy with his presents. His party was at Zone3 and he won most of the rounds although having the special you beaut prty boy gun helped a bit I think. Emma is looking forward to her party later in the month.

Now Brad has appeared in an advertisment. This flyer has been appearing in letterboxes all over Hobart and if you look really closely you will spot Brad. If you need a hint he is third from the left. Brad also passed his Tae Kwon Do grading on the weekend and has now picked up the first of three stripes for his orange belt. Only another two stripes to go and Brad will be at the highest level possable in the junior grades.

UPDATE: We got it all wrong, we don't know who Emma's home teacher will be. Maybe she will find out more at orientation day in a few weeks (it's actually on Emma's birthday!).
Awsome! Emma has just found out that she has Mrs Gatward as her home teacher at Kingston High next year. So far we know that Mel, Emma and Ben all have Mrs Gatward and we think that Andrew and Jacinta might also be in the same group.

Well the holidays are over . We had awsome fun. Emma went to Launceston on the bus and spent a couple of nights with the Groom's before comming back to Hobart on the bus again but this time she bought cousin Lisa with her. Lisa spent a couple of nights with us before being collected by her family. We had an amazing time in the snow on Mount Wellington. It looked like it wouldn't be that good from town, but once we arrived there was heaps of snow with a couple of awsome slides. Emma was in her element shopping in Launceston and Hobart with Dad's money! Brad enjoyed a couple of girl germ free days and spent a bit of Dads money as well. We were a bit shocked to hear that our friend Jordan was biten by a snake in Queensland. The snake survived but Jordan was a bit shaken up! Apparently it was a pet python so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Well the guys did really well. The bridge building was a lot of fun, even the very serious and scary looking judges cracked a smile and I'm sure one of them laughed at least once. The impromptu session was done behind closed doors so only those involved will ever know exactly what went on, but I've heard it may have involved an elephant and ballerina shoes! There are a couple of photos to look at, but Dad was a bit slack and didn't really take enough. Unfortunately none of the Blackmans Bay teams won, however they all did very well and made their parents and the school proud.
