Top story - very similar to our experiences between 13 and 20 Nov 06. We had heaps of rain at the start which made some of the creeks/rivers very dangerous to cross. Also had snow/hail/heavy rain on the IBR - this is normal I think! We were not prepared for the savagery of the Granite Beach to Lion Rock section - should have read the fine print on the track notes - MUD, MUD, MUD, treet roots, more MUD... At one stage my 13 yr old was up to his waist in those bottom, less mud holes. The last day was a breeze 9Km in just over 2 hours.

I would do the whole thing again it ws great.

[Phill] Thanks for the note. Murrumbateman = 30min North of Canberra!

It's Halloween's night here...BOO!
haha

Ice and fire - who'd have guessed it?!

If this isn't global warming, I don't know what is! It's very frightening if you think about it. It's headlining our national papers daily. What's sad is so many people are still ignoring guidlines to what they can do to prevent our changing climate.
We have just experienced our warmest October ever! (not that I'm complaining but it IS scary!)

Anyway, I loved the photo it looks un-real!

Take care tasweb!

Thanks for the info on reprogramming Verada keys. Do you know if this has tio be done if you change a battery? :) [Phill] I think you probably do because another guy (Bruce) mentioned here that he had to do this after a battery replacement. Glad to hear that my story was helpfull.

Tasweb seems to be fanging along nicely now. Do you use eaccelerator? eaccelerator.sf.net - That'll make PHP really fly.

That's all, geek talk over now. Hello to everyone in Tasweb land!

Well, I can't believe i've been looking at the Hobart webcam now since about March(?) and obviously it's been your winter. I haven't looked for a few weeks and then a coulple of days ago I thought i'd have a quick look to see how Tasmanias going on, only to find it breathtakingly sunny and beautiful. It's a place that never ceases to amaze me! The other night I looked and there was this awesome boat/yaht (near the bridge) and on the side of it it read Pacciana. Well, spare a thought for me it's getting "very" close to autumn now over here! grrr! ha!
okay anyway take care all at tasweb bye
x ;)
