OK, it's time for another one of Emma's cool maths questions;

How many in the class?

Exactly half the class are girls
Exactly one third of the class members wear glasses
One quarter of the class members are not in uniform
Five eighths of the students in this class walk to school.
How many students are in the class?

Oh yeah, something else that's been bugging me latley. Why do you all keep comming here from Google looking for virtual hairdressing games? There are heaps of you every single day. For a start, there are no virtual hairdressing games here, and secondly, what the heck is a virtual hairdressing game anyway?

phill  - The maths answer   |15-03-2007 01:03:17 Half are girls so there could be two in the class, but a third wear glasses so there must be at least 6 in the class. One quarter are not in uniform so there must be at least 12 in the class, but five eighths walk to school so there must be at least 24 in the class. The next option would be 48 and that would be a very big class, so one can only assume that there are 24 children in the class! Reply
