 Targa Tasmania for 2006 has been run and won. Jim Richards did his thing and made it look easy. Dad was lucky enough to be asked to help out again. The last time Dad was a Targa volunteer was in 1999 on the Howden stage. This time he was the communications officer for the stop point on the Mount Arrowsmith stage. Having to get out of bed at 4:30am on a very cold Sunday morning wasn't easy and sitting outside for a few hours when it's only seven degrees (many thanks to the guy in the fancy Commodore with the temperature thingy for pointing that out) and the cloud has descended to road level was interesting, but it was a heap of fun.
